Opportunities

In addition to Christian School, Sunday School, AWANA, children’s choir, and special programs we have regularly scheduled activities for both preschool and older children.

Besides a dynamic Sunday School, Sunday evening discipleship, and Wednesday night discipleship designed especially for youth we organize many social and fun activities. Our desire is to see our youth develop spiritually and socially with a deep commitment to Jesus Christ. We strive to see our youth serve in various capacities. Special trips, activities, retreats, camp and mission projects are all a part of what is planned for the youth.

Women in Christ seeks to glorify God and serve Christ’s kingdom in this congregation and community. Our ladies ministry seeks to support our pastors in their God ordained roles as leaders and shepherds of this body through participation in worship, prayer, discipleship, outreach, giving, fellowship, and service; and we seek to promote the church’s peace and purity as we co-labor in the work of the kingdom of God. Special studies, promotion of ladies conferences, and outreach activities of various kinds are planned on a regular basis.

Each month the men of the church gather for a fellowship breakfast on Saturday morning and prayer is the emphasis of the meeting.

Here at Mineral Springs we call our senior adult ministry Senior Saints. The Senior Saints are an important part of our church with new and expanding opportunities for involvement. This growing ministry provides Christ-centered activities addressing the spiritual and social needs of men and women in the second half of life.
          
The Senior Saints ministry includes luncheons (with singing groups and speakers); trips (both day and over night); and the Senior Saints choir. The choir sings both in our worship services and in other special opportunities.
          
This ministry seeks to strengthen the connection that our seniors have with the church and each other, providing opportunities for fellowship, inspiration, and service.
