Welcome to the 75th Anniversary Celebration Page of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. Here you will discover new things about our church as content is added regularly throughout the year 2012.

November 18, 2011 began our 75th year as a congregation of believers committed to Christ and to one another. A celebration of this nature requires that proper attention be placed on the accomplishment and the one who has made this a reality – our Lord Jesus Christ. Our God is great and greatly to be praised.

In 1937 God moved 30 individuals to covenant together in fellowship around the gospel by forming the MSBC. God has done many great things through these years, not the least of which is the salvation of souls, the edification of the saints, the support of missions, and the ongoing worship of His blessed name.

A celebration of 75 years will require many special days and events. With that in mind we are setting aside the 3rd Sunday of each month to bring to your attention much to remember from the past, rejoice in at the present, and reach for in the future as our logo’s theme communicates.

ROC Project

ROC stands for “Raise Our Ceiling!” In honor of our 75th Anniversary we would like to complete the ceiling in the fellowship hall through the donation of tiles by each of you making $75.00 gifts in memory of or in honor of someone. 325 such gifts are needed to reach our goal of $25,000 which is the cost for finishing the ceiling including lighting, duct work for heating and cooling, electrical, including the two rooms by the kitchen. Our prayer is that we will reach this goal early in 2012 so that the actual work can be completed long before special events are planned in the fall. Each of your in memory of or in honor of gifts must be placed in one of these specially prepared envelops. Please use a separate envelop for each gift.

Among other special activities and historic events to be shared this year there will be a new history of the church written. In that history of the church all $75 ROC, in memory of or in honor of gifts will be recognized in a special section showing the person the gift was given in memory of or in honor of along with those who gave the gift. This history of the church will be made available to you as we culminate our celebration on November 18, 2012 at a special homecoming service.

Our prayer is that God will richly bless this special 75th Anniversary of the church with spiritual revival, renewal, and visible growth to the glory and honor of His holy name!
